These productions are an opportunity for our dancers to learn the authentic art of ballet as a performing art. Providing them with the most professional experience is a crucial element of their training and organically elevates their artistry. These performances are a tangible demonstration of the training and the hard work that happens every day in the studio.

CONGRATULATIONS

…to all of our wonderful dancers, I’m amazed by the transformation of the Snow Queen over the past decade. This year, we had four Snow Queen casts, each consisting of more than 100 dancers. Each show was individually cast, providing opportunities for multiple dancers to perform lead roles. This was a huge growth opportunity for our dancers, who learned multiple tracks, and challenge for our creative team, who essentially produced four unique performances. I am grateful to each and every one of you.  We made art!

Thank you, artistic staff, for sharing your expertise with our dancers, preparing each and every student to achieve their personal best and continue to develop a deeper appreciation for the art of ballet. It's a pleasure working alongside a faculty, which shares a common vision for excellence: Tiit Helimets, Elena Nikolaeva, Oksana Vasileva, Maiia Musaeva, Sora Kim, Arsen Serobian, Veronika Part (Guest Master Teacher), and Lara Jean Mummert.

I would also like to recognize the wonderful work of our Pre-Ballet Division staff, Christina Kongaika, Dawn Sue, Sasha Smirnova, Jocelyn Wang, Abigail Kim, Arielle Salhov, and Ananya Tirumala. The younger dancers were very well prepared for entry into the Upper Division Program and their Snow Queen debut. We are thankful to have such caring and supportive master instructors on faculty to guide our dancers and bring my vision to life.

Thank you, costume, sewing and props volunteers, led by Irina Stepanova, who worked countless hours to ensure every detail was perfect, sewing, altering and embellishing more than 200 costumes in the production. Special thanks to Molly Smolen and Mei Liang for your production support.

Our production team (lighting design, projection design, sound, backstage and deck crew) introduced many new special effects, which were a beautiful contribution to the performance, led by Cassie Barnes.

“The glue,” our administration team, Irina Stepanova, Nyesha Petrushansky, Maryana Byelyey, Elena Zabelina, Heather Perez & Anastasia Bayer (marketing), led by Executive Director, Christine Wood, which holds the studio and productions together.

The patrons, it was our greatest pleasure to share our love for this artform with you.

My sincere gratitude to everyone, who supports these dancers and makes it possible for us to continue developing beautiful art.

Congratulations and Happy New Year!
