Bayer Ballet’s Virtual Summer Intensive is where serious dancers come to refine their technique and artistry, while discovering opportunities to take their dancing to the next level. An artfully-rigorous curriculum, presenting Vaganova technique in its purest form, is delivered by internationally-acclaimed Bayer Ballet Faculty & Guest Instructors. PROGRAM

This intensive will be held simultaneously, in-studio and virtually. SPACE is LIMITED for in-studio (Bayer Ballet Studios, Mountain View, CA) participation, as required to meet safety and health requirements of local county and government guidelines and protocols. The virtual portion of the intensive is held via Zoom. SCHEDULE

In this piece, dancers, of various ages and stages of their training, demonstrate the progression across various levels within the Vaganova System.

Bayer Ballet's Summer Intensive 2019 Performance An excerpt from "The Young Lady and the Hooligan" ballet is an example of the acting skills and mime curriculum, integral to the Vaganova training, through which dancers are taught how to effectively communicate with the audience.

Bayer Ballet Academy offers rigorous ballet training from pre-ballet through pre-professional, summer intensive programs, master classes with internationally-renowned guest teachers, and professional stage performance opportunities. Graduates of the Academy have been accepted into prestigious programs. Bayer Ballet Company, 501(c)3 was formed in 2008 to serve as a community service organization, committed to providing accessibility to the art and culture of the Vaganova method of classical ballet. Our mission is to enhance the cultural well-being of our community by creating equitable accessibility to the Vaganova method through educational and interactive events and world-class performances, which expose and explore the intricacies of this method.
